The 2020c has a good specification that is well suited for the family home. It has a good efficiency level and flow rate, while also delivering reassured quality and a long-lasting machine.

• Comes in Both HE or HF versions. The HF system is great for high flow and combi boilers and if you have a gravity-fed system the HE system is perfect for you.
• Non-electric with a twin tank. This means you won’t need any timers for the regeneration cycle. It is also easier to install – you won’t need electricity sockets.
• High quality brand. Made by Kinetico.
• Quiet Drive. Meaning you won’t hear it regenerating.

The Cons 

• Discontinued. This system is discontinued and no longer manufactured. The Kinetico Premier Compact is the latest Kinetico twin tanl water softener.
• The 10 Year Warranty. Because the 2020c is available mainly second hand – the 10-year warranty won’t stand.
• Parts are Expensive to Replace. Because there is often no warranty wit 2^nd hand products, issues with the softener could leaving you paying a lot more in the long run.
• HE and HF Versions. When buying second hand you will need to be sure to check which version you are buying. As it may not be the right system for your home.
• Can’t easily see salt usage. The outer casing means you can’t easily observe the salt going down. 

Kinetico 2020c Price, Value & Where to Buy

The price looks good. But the system at this price is second hand, refurbished and used. With most Kinetico products, the higher costs represent the quality and a 10-year warranty to support a long softener lifetime. If your water softener breaks, no warranty will result in added call out expenses and the costs for new parts.

In order to ake a safer purchase and opt for reliability – the Kinetico Premier Compact is the more updated Model for you. If you want a cheaper model and to take the risk then you can find the 2020c on sites such as Ebay.
